What is the mission of The Parkinson's Report?

The Parkinson’s Report is a website and blog dedicated to providing quick access and easily navigable information for the Parkinson’s community. The mission is to inform and provide resources for people with Parkinson’s, care partners of people with Parkinson’s, and rehab clinicians who assess and treat people with Parkinson’s.

Where can I find information relevant to me on this website?

On the contact page you will find a tag cloud with categories of information (i.e. “caregivers” or “cognition”) that serves as a guide through the website. Select a topic from the tag cloud and you will be directed to blog posts relevant to your choice.

Do you offer therapy services through The Parkinson's Report?

The Parkinson’s Report is currently in the middle of a pilot program before fully launching a teletherapy-based private practice. There will be opportunity to receive one-on-one therapy services later in 2021 through “TPR Therapy”. Find out more information by visiting the website at TPRtherapy.com.

Depending on your objective of raising funds, there are a few different options. Send an email to info@theparkinsonsreport.com with more details about your interests to receive a list of relevant options for raising money on the local, national, and international fronts.

How do I get connected to my local Parkinson's community?

Engaging in a community of support looks different for everyone. Start by asking your neurologist if they know about a group that meets in your area or Parkinson’s-specific exercise classes. You can also visit Michael J. Fox Foundation’s list of Team Fox events to find one near you.
